Helena Vieira at the Green Deal Biotechnology Conference
The Green Deal Biotechnology Conference, organised by the EFB Environmental Biotechnology Division, will take place on
26–28 May 2025 in Aveiro, Portugal.
We are proud to announce that WIN-BIG coordinator Helena Vieira will be a Keynote Speaker at the upcoming Green Deal Biotechnology conference.
This conference is dedicated to environmental biotechnology and its frontiers, covering broadly several specific topics:
- Innovative solutions in bioremediation
- Biotechnological valorisation of marine, other natural resources and wastes
- Sustainability of environmental biotechnology solutions
- Biotechnological approaches to nutrient cycling balance
- AI and genome editing - friends or foes in environmental biotechnology?
The meeting will bring together scientists and professionals from academia and various sectors of industry who share a common interest in resource recovery and environmental biotechnology, with the goal of developing new technologies supporting the bioeconomy.
